What. A. Week. This was one of the first Fridays in a while where I could see that everyone’s battery was running low. With a pandemic, elections, work, school, and life, the shutdown threshold was met. Thankfully, the weekend is upon us and we can recharge to go into next week ready for tasks at hand. I came across some great stories this week that I am looking forward to sharing.
Tempe mom recovers from COVID-19 after spending 4 months in the hospital. This is a touching story of a young mom recovering from COVID-19 with the help of occupational therapy. I enjoyed the pictorial representation of what occupational therapy practitioners do with clients.
Holly Hertzberg, an occupational therapist, wins City Council bid in Ward 4 Hertzberg ran on a platform that included opportunities for children to engage in their environment and resources for the underserved.
Provider Relief Fund Application and Attestation Portal This portal allows healthcare providers to apply for and attest to relief fund payments made for healthcare-related expenses or lost revenue attributable to COVID-19.
